Joshua Tree National Park

Spanish First, English Translation Follows

Hola! Este semana nosotros visitamos Joshua Tree National Park! Fue muy fantastica! Llegar a la parque en Martes. Comer la cena y después fue afuera para ver las estrellas. Son maravillosos. La dia despues fuimos en una caminata que tiene muchas cactus. Hay una que tu puede ver dentro de la cactus. Yo inclinada para obtener una mejor mirada y mi codo toca la planta. Fue muy dolorosa y yo piensa que no van a salga. Pero mi mama lo saque. Fue muchas lagartos también. Fue en una otra caminata que los lagartos eran encima de muchas rocas. La caminata fue a la Skull Rock. La roca si se parecía a una cráneo.  Yo trato de escalar en las ojos pero fueron muy dificulto! Pero yo escalar muchos otros rocas. Nosotras caminata final fueron la rancho del desierto. Trato a empujar Ava en la silla de ruedas pero la arena fue demasiado profunda. Mi papá empuja Ava de regreso a la carro y mi mama y yo continuo en la caminata. No fueron en todo el camino y mama tome fotos de el rancho para Ava. Yo ver muchas lagartos. Fuimos en la carro y manejamos a la casa. Ver muchas plantas que parece a limpiadores de pipa. Algunos tenían flores rojos!

Mi tío abuelo y mi tía abuela vino para cenar. Trajeron P.F Changs. Trajeron fruta de las árboles en la barrio. Fue gente muy agradable. La dia despues mi mama y yo fue en una caminata que fueron a las Cottonwood Springs. Mi papa y Ava manejar a la estacionamiento y nos esperaría allí. Mi mama y yo vi una enorme conejo y vi muchas nueva cactus. Nosotros empieza en una caminata pero esto van a toma demasiado tiempo y volvió. Fue en la caminata que fueron a la minas pero no vi nada y volvió. Finalmente nosotros fue en la dirección de la estacionamiento. Nosotros vi papa y Ava y vi la Springs. Yo no vi mucho, o no fui lo suficientemente lejos. Fue a la RV y empacado para fue a Saguaro. Los veo alli! 

English Translation:

Hello again! Earlier this week we visited Joshua Tree National Park! Many interesting things happened on this adventure. We arrived in Joshua Tree on Tuesday evening. We settled in and then ate dinner. Then, right before bed we went outside to look at the stars. They were everywhere. It was beautiful. I could see the big dipper out my window. The next day we went on a hike. We chose it because it was cool and it was short so Ava could hobble around on her crutches. It was surrounded by the Cholla Cactus plant. There was one where you could see the inside of the cactus. I bent down to get a better look and the tip of my elbow slightly touched a spike ball on the ground. It was SUPER painful and it took a lot of effort to get it out. I thought it would never come out. We saw a lot of lizards too. We went on another hike that was in the middle of a boulder village. Boulders were everywhere! We saw the boulder called Skull Rock. It looked exactly like a skull. I tried to climb into the eye sockets but it was too steep. I climbed a lot of other rocks though. Our last hike was the desert ranch hike. We tried to push Ava in her wheelchair but the sand was too deep and Dad took Ava back to the car. Mom and I continued along the trail. We didn’t walk the whole way and Mom just snapped a few pictures of the ranch from afar. We saw plants that looked like pipe cleaners sticking out of the ground. Some of them had red flowers blooming!

We drove home and chillaxed for a little while. Then my great uncle Nick and great aunt Debbie came over for dinner. They brought P.F Changs for dinner. They brought a lot of citrus from the fruit trees in their neighborhood. They were super nice people! The next day mom and I went on a hike to the cottonwood springs. Dad and Ava parked the car in the parking lot and would wait for us there while they explored the springs. Mom and I saw a huge jackrabbit jump by and we saw a lot of new cacti. We walked around a little and started walking on a trail. We realized the trail would take too long so we headed back and went on the trail that led to the mine. We walked on that for a while and didn’t see anything related to a mine so we turned back again. We finally just decided we would take the trail that headed directly to the parking lot. We got to the parking lot and met Dad and Ava. The Cottonwood Springs wasn’t much. It was either dried up or I didn’t go far enough. We went home and packed up the RV to head to Saguaro.
