English translation:
Hello! Today we are at Santa Fe New Mexico. We didn’t do anything special the first day, although for dinner we went to La Choza. It was an hour and a half wait for food, so we had to get chips and guacamole from the bar. We were very hungry, and I was starting to have a cramp in my stomach. But don’t feel bad, we got our food and it was pretty good. Oh, hey I rhymed, food, good, except they don’t really sound the same. Anyway, I got a pinto bean burrito with avocado on the side.

The next day we went to cooking school. That is a good story! We walked in and looked at all the cookbooks, ornaments, and wood statues. Then went into the room where they show you how to prepare a certain meal. We had beef tenderloin with mushroom sauce, eggnog flan, cornbread muffins, green beans, and sweet potato. They explained how to make it while they were making it. They gave good tips too. In the end we ate it and it was surprisingly great!! Then we walked around town and walked past some art shops and we saw cool stuff, like, jewelry, toys with beads, and other things.
The next day was a rainy nasty day, so we made that our cleaning day and laundry day. I had to clean the toilet and the sink, which was gross, but I’m glad we got it over with. We decided it was the perfect day to watch a movie, so we went to the theaters and saw Frozen Two, which is hilarious, and you should totally see it. I won’t spoil anything though. So, like I said, it was a gloomy day and we didn’t do much. Don’t worry it will get exciting.
Now, on to the next day. Sorry there are a lot of days. After that we went to the Georgia O’Keeffe museum. Georgia O’Keeffe was a famous painter. She is known for her bright colors. In her times no one believed in her and they thought her colors were too bright. Her art was really pretty. Then we drove off to hike up a mountain. The hike was really fun, and it had a gorgeous view of literally everything around you! There was TONS of snow too, which was one of the best parts. Then we went to canyon road and looked at art shops. That was a lot of fun!! We went into so many and the art was SO pretty. We went into one where they had a kaleidoscope which is an instrument where you look inside what looks like a telescope and inside there is a glass panel, but when you look inside it appears as triangles of color. I can’t explain it well so you might have to look it up. We went into another shop with really cool paintings and the owner had one of the cutest puppies ever. I could just keep going and going! We went to get our Christmas tree that is small enough to fit on a stool and we got colored lights and we also got twine for putting Fruit Loops on. The Fruit Loops go around the tree. We had hot chocolate while putting Fruit Loops on twine while watching Christmas Vacation. We had a great Santa Fe experience overall! BYE!

Good job Hazel!!
Nice pictures. Love the colorful one of you and the Poinsettia.
Hazel, I love your bit about kaleidoscopes as they are so colorful and remind me how colorful Santa Fe is. Also interesting that O’Keefe was snubbed. Look at her following now!
